Abstract EN
Perhaps the most important problems and reasons for choosing this topic for research is the ence of legislative regulation in Iraq for stem cell therapy, whether within a public or private law, and the importance of these cells in treating many intractable ones and moving away from traditional methods that failed to treat them.
The doctor has several obligations towards the donor and the patient, some of which are a humanitarian aspect, including informing and enlightening the donor and the patient, obtaining the consent of the donor or the patient or their representatives, in which the formalism had an important role in it, as well as the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the patient and the donor, and this is in addition to his main obligations.
One of the most important results reached by the research is that if the donor is incomplete or incompetent, the recipient must be from one of his origins or among the brothers after obtaining the written consent of one of his parents.
Also, these cells should not be used in human cloning experiments or lead to mixing of lineages.
The donation of stem cells should be free of charge.
