Abstract EN

The aim of research is to evaluate biological subjects in middle school science books for the academic year (2020 - 2021) in Iraq, according to the standards of science for the next generation, to achieve the research goal, the researchers followed the method of content analysis.

the research tool was prepared(a list of criteria), the list was presented to a group of arbitrators, and after making sure of its sincerity, it analysis the content of biological, subjects, as the analysis included two books book science first book / part II and book science book / part I by(135) page, item unit is adopted for recording and repetition unit for census, and the most important findings o the researchers: the first science book / part II was the level of good while the other was a weak level compared to a specific standard, the standard "scientific the engineering practices " in both parts while the standard " main ideas included in biology " got the lowest level, and the researcher recommended a number of recommendations and made a number of proposals.
