Abstract EN

This research deals with the issue of the occurrence of material and its oldness, and it presents the opinions expressed by the majority of philosophers concerning this issue.

It is one of the most important and dangerous philosophical issues due to its overshadowing effects on the rest of belief issues as mentioned in the introduction.

The present study adopts an evidential methodology, agreeing and refusing, without resorting to weak and controversial contexts.

It is divided into two sections followed by a conclusion which summarizes the results of the research.

In the first section, the researcher illustrates the opinions of the schools which focus upon the oldness of material, besides the evidences that prove their opinions ranging between the extreme oldness, stopping, or careful consideration.

The second section is devoted to the opinions which shed light on the occurrence of material as adopted by Al-Kindi school of thought which is considered unique in contrast to the rest of the doctrines.

Also, it presents some of the evidential proofs that proves the occurrence, as a material, movement and time, in addition to the proof of the eternal oldness of Almighty Allah, His Oneness, and His Unique Creativity and Providence.
