English Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the Role of Strategic Intelligence on Developing Intellectual Capital at Qatari Public Universities, with the presence of Benchmarking as a mediating variable, and the study adopted the descriptive - analytical approach, and the study population consisted of (108) elements of all managers in the Top -level management at tow Qatari Public Universities.

The study conducted a comprehensive survey of all study population elements, and used several statistical methods to answer the study questions and test its hypotheses, using the statistical package (SMART-PLS, 3), and Inferential statistical approach, and it reached a set of results, the most important of them are: the level of availability of Strategic Intelligence, and the level of Intellectual Capital, and the level of availability of Benchmarking, with their dimensions, have reached a high degree on the five-level Likert scale, at Qatari Public Universities.

The results of the study indicated that there is a statistically significant effect of Strategic Intelligence on Developing Intellectual Capital, there is a statistically significant effect Strategic Intelligence on Benchmarking, it also indicated that there is a statistically significant effect of Benchmarking in Intellectual Capital, and indicated that there is an effect of Strategic Intelligence on Developing Intellectual Capital on the presence of Benchmarking as an intermediate variable.

The study recommended that more attention should be paid to the dimensions of the Strategic Intelligence at Qatari Public Universities, for their important role in Developing Intellectual Capital, and enhancing Benchmarking.
