The research on “narratives” of Obaidullah bin Zahr on the authority of Ali bin Yazid Al-Alhani on the authority of Al-Qasim bin Abdul Rahman on the authority of Abi Umamah, may God be pleased with him “collect and study” is summarized in an inventory of these narratives from the books of the year, which amounted to seventy-eight (78) narrations.

Including: What trustworthy trusts agreed in it, and it is about eight (8) narrations that were narrated by the imams with authentic chains of transmission on the authority of a companion other than the one for which Ibn Zahr narrated.

Including: What was followed by the trustworthy, which is about seven (7) narrations brought by the imams on the authority of the same companion for whom Ibn Zahr narrated.

Including: He did not contradict the trustworthy ones, which are ten (10) narrations, in which he disagreed with them, either in a chain of narrators or in death.

Including: What is unique to it or agrees with the weak, and it is fifty-three (53) narrations.

As a result, this chain of transmission is one of the very weak chains of transmission, and the imams of hadith have avoided it to other chains of transmission, and this is what this research has proven.

*research aims
1- Collecting the sayings of the scholars about the men of this chain of narrators, namely Ubayd Allah Bin Zahr, Ali Bin Yazid Al-Ilhani and Al-Qasim Bin Abd Al-Rahman, Jarrah and Tadheel.

2- Explanation of the status of the narrations in which this chain of narrators agrees with trustworthy ones, whether accepted or rejected.

3- Explanation of the status of the narrations in which this chain of narrators disagreed with trustworthy ones, whether accepted or rejected.

4- Explanation of the status of the narrations that are unique to this chain of transmission, acceptance and response.

*Research Methodology
In writing this research, I relied on two basic approaches, which are, first: the inductive approach, so I studied the narrations of Ubayd Allah ibn Zahr that were transmitted from the stomachs of the books of the Sunnah, exposing the endowments and without them.

Secondly: the analytical approach, by graduating these narrations, scientifically, according to the method of follow-ups - complete and incomplete - and evidence.

So that I can distinguish those who agreed with this chain of transmission (Ibn Zahr on the authority of Al-Ilhani on the authority of Al-Qasim on the authority of Abu Umama) from those who disagreed with it, with the judgment based on the hadiths of the scholars, both advanced and later.
