Abu Obeida Muammar bin Al-Muthanna (died 210 AH) is considered one of the prominent imams in language and interpretation, and he has works explaining the meanings of the Qur'an and its strangeness, and his book (Metaphor of the Qur'an) is a witness to his imam and his mastery in the language, and he still has sayings about the strange Qur'an transmitted in the books of his students and from They were quoted from, and from those who transmitted his sayings: Ibn Duraid (321 AH) in his book (Jamarat al-Lughah), and it contained texts on the authority of Abu Ubaidah, some of which are not in the (Metaphor of the Qur'an) by Abu Ubaidah, and I have traced these places; I stood on twenty-nine sayings that were transmitted by Ibn Duraid on the authority of Abu Ubaidah and are not in the metaphor of the Qur'an, so I collected and studied them, and highlighted their scientific value, and the features of Abu Ubaidah's method in them.
