Domestic violence crimes are among the most serious social crimes facing society, as they affect all segments of society, to the extent that it is not limited to one segment without another.

Among them, he reminds them that they were a small family; As the family is the first building block of which society is formed, this concern for the family came at all legislative levels, which means attention to society, and then attention to the homeland and the stability of its security and safety.

The phenomenon of domestic violence has spread in all societies in general, and in our Arab societies in particular.

This is because of the bad societal, humanitarian and moral matters, which made violence between members of the same family, and thus the crimes of domestic violence are among the most serious social issues facing and disturbing the human community, and it is striking that this phenomenon leaves behind stolen rights and wasted personalities, of no value or weight.

While there is nothing to deter such violence, the law has prohibited and criminalized all forms of violence, and established punishment that achieves public and private deterrence, with retributive justice.
