The repercussions of the state of political division that Iraq witnessed during the days of the monarchy led to the emergence of the phenomenon of clan divisions that the country knew at the time of that rule.

The interests of a number of politicians, who worked to strike their opponents and overthrow what they formed of ministries, interacted with some leaders and clan elders who were looking for benefits and personal privileges that those politicians pledged to achieve them if they supported them in the elections and won the parliamentary majority or the premiership.

The politicians' exploitation of leaders and sheikhs, especially in the middle Euphrates region, has led to the occurrence of movements and conflicts between the clans of this region and the government, and among the most important of these movements were the movements witnessed by the Al-Rumaitha area in May 1935.

The researcher relied on official documents and the viewpoint of a group of Iraqi officials in the documents of the royal court kept in the Iraqi House of Books and Documents.
