Abstract EN

The theologians( mutakallimon) used various methods and evidence to know God and His attributes.

Among these methods that many of them relied on is the analogy of the absent on the witness, which is called the jurisprudential measurement or the analogy of representation in the science of logic.

Which both Judge Abdul- Jabbar and Imam Al-Juwayni used it in defining their principles, in terms of proving or denying the attributes, which led to a dispute between them about these attributes.
