This study reveals the critical issues tackled by Abu Tammam Habib bin Awas Al-Tai in his poetry.

These issues were the talking of criticism of his time, such as: the process of poetry and its nature, incentives for creativity, the issue of honesty and lies, the issue of nature and creation, rhetoric and meaning, and other issues.

And they all appeared in his critical paintings that came in many of his praises, and in his critical poems scattered in his collection of poems, which shows the capacity of his knowledge and his criticism ability, and his high status in criticism and poetry.
