Praise be to God, prayer and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah and after: Islamic law paid special attention to hygiene, including washing hands; Because hand hygiene has many benefits, especially with regard to preventing the spread of diseases and their transmission between people; For that reason, this research was entitled: "Fiqh issues related to hand washing - Comparative jurisprudence study".

In it, the researcher aims to show the danger of not taking care of hand hygiene, especially in the time of the spread of diseases and epidemics, while showing the legal rulings related to washing hands, in addition to raising people's awareness of the places and times in which hands must be washed.

The researcher reached several results, the most important of which are: the comprehensiveness of Islamic law for every new event and calamity, and the interest of Islamic law in sensory and moral hygiene, and that the hands should be rubbed well when washing them; In order to remove the attached dirt and viruses.

The researcher recommends taking care of hygiene in general, and hand hygiene in particular, and this is confirmed after leaving the toilet, after eating foods, especially if they are fatty, after playing and touching animals, after coughing and sneezing, before and after visiting the patient, and before touching the face, eyes and nose.
