Defining money is not easy; This is because money has effects of three different dimensions, which constitute the climate in which money operates, and the directions that work to develop it, namely: the economic dimension, the legal dimension, and the social and historical dimension.

The principle in financial dealings in general - and money in particular - is custom on the one hand, and facilitation and permission for need and necessity on the other.

This money must be valid to fulfill obligations such as buying goods and services, or paying taxes, but if the function of the card is limited to achieving one purpose only, such as buying a certain type of goods, without others, or for telephone communication, it is not valid.

The approach used: the analytical approach through analyzing the opinions of jurists and the comparative approach.
