The research deals with a critical issue represented in linking literature with ethics.

Many critics have called for the promotion of decent morals and the distance from vice to be one of the elements by which the critic measures the artistic work.

And our critical heritage, and indeed I found many supporters for it in Western literature, in the past and present, so I collected the statements of supporters of the idea of linking literature with morals, and I refuted the sayings of the violators.
