Abstract EN

The current study aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of using the educational scaffolding strategy in developing psychological enlightenment and probing thinking among students of the Psychology Department at the College of Education, in accordance with the fact that if the student is to be a good thinker, he must be taught thinking skills through a set of clear steps appropriate to his stage of development and ability to comprehend.

Since university students are more open and in anticipation of social problems, here comes the importance of enlightening and increasing students' awareness of themselves so that they can face this life, when the student is trained to manage the wheel of his mind and increase the speed of this wheel with psychological enlightenment, of which thinking is one of its aspects.

The scaffold learning strategy is one of the most prominent learning strategies appropriate to this field.

The study attempted to address the shortcomings in psychological enlightenment and probing thinking skills for students of the Psychology Division at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, by applying the research experience to a sample of sixty students, and prepared a measure of environmental enlightenment and a test of probing thinking, as well as a guide for the lecturer according to the educational scaffolding strategy.

The results confirmed the effectiveness of the strategy in developing psychological enlightenment and probing thinking skills, and came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions in this regard.
