Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the impact of Quranic stories in acquiring social values for students at fourth scientific class.

The sample consists of 86 students chosen intentionally from AL-Rashediya preparatory school for boys.

The sample, then, distributed randomly among two groups equivalent in number of variables; vis.

General mean, Islamic education score for the previous academic year, intelligence equations, age (computed in months), and parents academic achievement.

The experimented group consists of 53 students studying Islamic education by using the Quranic stories .e control group consists of 49 students studying Islamic education by using traditional method.

To fulfill the aim of others (3993) for measuring social values, which consists of 76 items each followed by three alternatives has been applied in this study.

The scale is characterized by validity, reliability and descriminability.

The collected data has been analyzed statistically by using t-test for one sample and t-test for two independent samples.

The findings show the following: 3-There is statically significant difference fourth scientific class students in the preparatory and secondary school in governorate of Nineveh.

4-There is statistically significant difference between the mean score of values for the two groups and for the beuefil of the experimental one.

In the light of the findings, the researcher sets a group of recommendations and suggestions such as: -Teachers of Islamic education should apply the Quranic stories with their students in the whole academic levels.

-The impact of using the Quranic stories in developing fourth-scientific class students attitudes towards the subject of Islamic education.
