Abstract EN

The current research deals with the discrimination between the two words; namely "forays" and "biography' and the word forays was confined in its meaning to the battles prophet Mohammed peace be upon him Madeenah since the first outbreak of the first war with the disbelieving tribes until his death (peace be upon him).

From the other hand, the word "biography" represents all the news and information about the life of the prophet including his birth, the circumstances accompanied that, his youth and the revelation descended to him, the beginning of his call to Allah, his immigration to Madeenah, building the state of Islam in Madeenah, defending the state of Islam, the forays and battles he led and finally his death peace be upon him.

Therefore, the researceher wanted to illustrate the main objective of this research, which is demonstrating that the Prophetic biography (Serah) is associated with two sciences, namely: (Hadith) and (history) and this association is imposed by the nature of the Prophet's Biography after it has been separated from the forays science.
