Granting credits like loans and other financial facilities are of great risk on banks due to the fact that there is always a potentional of a lender's failure to repaying the credit wholly or partially with its due interests in the agreed periods.

If this possibility may occur, the bank concerned may suffer an actual loss.

To avoid this possibility, banking custom and legislation impose certain duties on bank and their directors and employees and connected with credit risk management system, such as the duty of inquiry about the client, the duty to study and analyzing the client's proposal of granting credit, the duty of giving him an advice and the duty of controlling the cleint's bussness which has financed by bank.

The aforesaid duties will be the focus of this article.
