Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the degree of the spread of irrational thoughts, and the level of Covi-19 panic spread among Arab young people in Egypt, Iraq and Palestine.

The study also aims to specify the nature of the relationship between irrational thoughts and this panic among the members of the study sample.

In addition, the study aims at identifying the nature of the differences in the degree of the spread of irrational thoughts about this Pandemic, and the level of panic among the youth due to their gender, nationality and their level of education.

The sample consists of 303 Egyptian, Iraqi and Palestinian young people.

The researchers have used both the irrational thoughts measurement, and the Pandemic panic measurement.

The results have revealed that the degree of the spread of irrational thoughts is of three levels: low (29.73% ), intermediate (31.77), and high (38.50% ).

The study has also shown that the spread of panic is also of three levels: (18.21% ), (32.29% ), (49.50).

It has also shown that there is no significant statistical correlation between the irrational thoughts and panic.

In addition, there are no significant statistical differences between the irrational thoughts and panic due to the gender, nationality and level of education of the study sample.
