Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the following: - 1-The level of stressful life events for the students of Al-Miqdad College of Education.2-The level of psychological stability among the students of Al-Miqdad College of Education.3-The relationship between stressful life events and psychological stability among the students of Al-Miqdad College of Education.4-The difference in the relationship between stressful life events and psychological stability of the students of Al-Miqdad College of Education based on the gender variable (males, females).

To achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher adopted Al-Zubaidi's scale (Al-Zubaidi, 2009), which is composed of (27) items and binary alternatives to measure stressful life events.

The researcher adopted Al- Khazraji's scale (Khazraji 2006) of psychological stability which is consisted of (29) items and five alternatives to measure psychological stability.

However, after carrying out the scales to the research sample, which covered 200 male and female students at Al-Miqdad College of Education, the outcomes indicated that the level of stressful life events was low and the level of psychological stability was high.

Furthermore, the results revealed that the relationship between the two variables was good, and the results showed that there is a difference in the relationship between the two variables according to the gender variable.
