The current research aims to identify: -1- The degree of social laziness among the middle school students2- Identify the significance of the difference in the variable of social indolence among high school students, according to the gender variable (males - females).
To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the scale prepared by (Al-Ajam 2017) consisting of (25) paragraphs and binary alternatives for measuring social indolence, and after applying the scale to the research sample consisting of (200) students from high school students, the results showed that the degree of social indolence among students It was (29.82) and the degree of social indolence among males was (30.33) and the degree of social laziness among females was (25.51).
The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences according to the gender variable in favor of (males).
