The research is concerned with a framework of the relationship betweenthe new media means and the terror groups, the problem of the research is beingnotified in the following main question.

What is the citizen's media effect on theaudiences imagination in Iraq toward Counter terrorism Unit after liberationoperations during 2017? upon the mentioned context a survey had been appliedthrough a newspaper questionnaire relies on studying a sample of Iraq citizens whocurrently live in Baghdad consists of 400 words which had been chosen haphazardlyfrom different levels conforming (age, academic title, social, economic levels andgender……….

.

etc.

).

The research concluded that the criterion of the Iraqi citizen wasat a high level rating 51% , then at a medium level rating 27% , finally at 22% , whichare considered as an acceptable rates because the ISIS used to control which urgedthe majority to concern by the security & military issues in addition to the (CTU).

Theresults clarified the reasons of accepting the citizen's media in the Iraqi audienceare (the variety of its topics) which rated 57% , the second level, (searching for newsand information) rating 50, 75 % , (dealing with issues which are neglected by thetraditional media means), the third one rated 43% , (which is seriously concernedby the audience's issues), the fourth one rated 41, 25 % , finally (how can it provideinteractive means) rating 24, 75% .
