The subject of this research is a study of one of the important and well-known rules in contemporary Islamic philosophy.

The purpose of the research is to show the extent of its impact on a number of philosophical and cognitive issues، and to achieve its epistemological value because what appears in the minds of many scholars of Islamic wisdom; It is a given rule.

This was due to the fact that a number of modern wise men had adopted it in the textbooks، and they adopted it as a definite basis for many opinions، which created a general impression on the students of wisdom.

This rule is one of the established certainty rules.

The nullity of this philosophical rule is an important philosophical consequence of which the necessity of changing a number of well-known opinions in contemporary philosophy.

The approach adopted in this study is the descriptive approach based on the inductive approach، the analytical rational approach، and then the critical approach
