use of modern devices to measure various sports movements has saved time and effort to answer many questions to solve problems in learning and developing performance with various sports skills in general and technical gymnastics in a way, including the cartwheel skill , whose performance mistakes are different and which the teacher or coach cannot discover with the naked eye We resort to imaging and analyzing the motor path of the skill through the use of modern mechanical kinetic analysis devices and tools, which represent one of the main pillars used in evaluating the level of performance.

The research aims to identify the values of some biokinetic variables in the performance of the cartwheel skill on the floor mat in the artistic gymnastics for female students, and to identify the relationship between the analysis of some biokinetic variables and the performance of the cartwheel skill on the floor mat in the artistic gymnastics for the female students.

The descriptive approach was used in the style of correlational relations, and the study population included the 4th stage students / Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / College of Education for Girls / University of Kufa, for the academic year (2020-2021), and the number of the sample was (30) students, and imaging was conducted to assess the performance of cartwheel skill through the help of experts specializing in gymnastics, then the performance analysis was carried out through the (Kenova) program and the biokinetic variables of the skill were extracted to compare with the performance evaluation test, and the results were extracted through the statistical bag (spss).

The researcher concluded that there is a correlation between some biokinetic variables and the performance of the cartwheel skill.

The researcher recommended the adoption of quantitative analysis (Bio kinematics) in order to identify the motor path and then identify weaknesses and work on them for the purpose of evaluating performance correctly, in addition to the need to pay attention to identifying the principles and mechanical foundations to be used in revealing the best ways to reach ideal performance.
