In light of the tremendous technological developments that have occurred in the field of communications and information technology and the accompanying change in the geography of time and space, in addition to the successive events around the world and the growth of social phenomena such as deviation, extremism and violence, which led to the need to pay attention to studying the causes and factors that led to it, while A new concept of security has emerged, namely cultural and intellectual security, to sound the alarm strongly warning of the collapse of civilizations and the deterioration of cultures for some countries and peoples, as this new term announced the importance of its presence on the contemporary scene, and it has imposed itself strongly as a necessary approach that must be taken care of in drawing countries' policies such as economic and national security And from this standpoint, this research discusses the role of the Cairo University administration in enhancing the cultural and intellectual security of students, by conducting a field study on a sample of university students whose strength reached (150) individuals, noting that the anthropological method was used in conducting the research, This was done through the use of questionnaires, directed interviews, and in-depth focus groups with students, while the descriptive analytical approach was used in the interpretation and analysis of The research is based on the use of a theoretical framework that includes the use of the theory of "cultural capital", so that the researcher can get acquainted with the role of Cairo University administration in confronting these phenomena that have become threatening states and peoples.
