The Kasbah Area with its white houses overlooking the Mediterranean, and its narrow, twisted alleys, is one of the most important landmarks of Algeria.

Its strategic position at the top of the capital has made it, in all ages and successive regimes, the city's vibrant artery, from the Phoenicians to the Amazighs to the Ottoman Empire to the French colonial period.

In this research, we will list the most important historical monuments of the old city of the Kasbah and the astronomical and geographical location of the city and the most important customs and traditions of the population living in the Kasbah and finally we will talk about the status of the city of Kasbah of Algeria today.
