The reason behind the choice of this topic is that it has not been given its due of study and there is no final word concerning which adjective comes first in order, though a lot of grammatical and linguistic studies had been written.

This paper, therefore, is an attempt in this regard.

The paper is divided into an introduction, three sections and a conclusion.

The study concludes that the grammarians agreed that the rule concerning the order of adjectives is the singular comes first, followed by the clause and then the sentence.

However, they allowed change in this order when the speaker wants to emphasize a certain trait, the related adjective comes first in order.
