Abstract EN
The ancient Arab heritage contains many rhetorical, stylistic and aesthetic theories that help us analyze the text and prove its textuality.
Therefore, this study aims to shed light on this importance through an Arab critic, Hazem Al-Qirtagani, who is known for his long experience in this field.
He has enriched Arabic criticism and linguistics with the idea of textual coherence, and his book Minhaj al-Bulagha, and Siraj al-Odaba' was truly considered a lamp for those who wanted to study Arabic criticism and text linguistics.
.
He put forward an important theory for understanding the text in form and significance, through his talk about the formal and moral ties through which proportion and harmony are achieved within the text, and then confirmed this through Al-Mutanabbi's poem, which begins wiyh: "I overcome longing in you.
