Abstract EN

Social relations in the Arabic novel form a wide space that develop with the development of human thought and its philosophy in knowing the environment in which it lives depending on its positions and others, it tests them with its private and public experiences.

At the beginning, it was adopted as a physical and visibly tangible character, then it was construed as mental ion until it was eventually fused with the temporal so that it was involving the physical and moral existence in the human perception of life.

The research aims to study the social and cultural relations in the novels of Abdul Rahman Al-Rubaie, the novel of Ar-Rafidain's Wailing as a model, and the extent to which the novelist was affected by these important relationships in the novelist's experience.

The research follows the method of induction and textual analysis of the narrative texts in the novel “Wailing Rafidain” by Abdul Rahman Majid Al-Rubaie, and to reveal the extent of his ability to assimilate social relations as the main driver of events and personalities.

As for the most important findings of the research, the narrative text establishes social structures and relationships that stem from the nature of the text itself, in which the social, objective, intellectual and cultural visions are centered to form the map of the narrative text in drawing the trends sought by the narrator.
