Abstract EN

The research is entitled The Modern Technique of Human Reproduction in Islamic Jurisprudence: A Contrastive Study among Islamic DoctrinesThe study sheds light on one of intriguing issues which is the use of new technique in human reproduction.

In this technique, a married couple with infertility can be provided with an option for instance a man with fertile semen other than a husband is used for a woman in order to conceive.

Such issue has encountered with discrepancy among various opinions of Islamic clerics.

Each group of clerics have their own evidence for suna prophet's progeny (Phub) to agree or disagree.

Some clerics have disagreed about using in vitro fertilization (IVF) due to the notion of bloodline destructions which is against the virtue of marital principles in Islam.

The other group of clerics have agreed due to narratives from suna which only forbid ejaculation of man inside women's wombs without marriage bonds.

in broader sense, they accept (IVF) for conception if the husband is inflicted with infertility.

The researcher has examined narratives from suna and prophet's progeny (Phub) via exploring various cleric's opinions along history from different Islamic doctrine (Hanafi, shafee, maliki and Jafari).

Moreover, the study came up with findings corresponding with the right path of suna.
