Academic historians emerged in the middle of the twentieth century in the Arab world, whose scientific views were of great importance in historical research.

They developed a specific methodology for them in recording historical writing, extracting facts and showing the value of historical material, whether at the local, regional or global levels.

Among these are Egyptian historians, who began writing historical writing according to an academic methodology, and most of them followed specific historical schools in their scientific propositions.

Among these contemporary historians is Dr.

Ahmed Abdel Rahim Mustafa, who has emerged as a historian who wrote on important historical topics, some of which dealt with the history of the Ottoman Empire, the history of the Arab world, and the history of Egypt in particular, and he followed a specific methodology in his historical writing and had clear scientific proposals and opinions.

In this research, we will review an overview of the life of the Egyptian historian Dr.

Ahmed Abdel Rahim Mustafa, and present his scientific approach to historical writing.
