The practice of the arts in its directions, methods and schools is one of the means of artistic and creative expression and is the way for students of artistic education to express themselves and develop their artistic skills and knowledge so the study aims to revealing the expressive features in the work of students of the Department of Technical Education.

The limits of the study were limited to the study of expressive features in the work of students of the Department of Artistic Education - Faculty of Fine Arts - Baghdad University for the academic year 2016-2017 morning study.

the most prominent of the findings of the study are: The expressive features depend on the dramatic escalation through the performance of the painter full of passion and explicit colors and the diversity of the lines and their directions that reveal the artist's emotions and the expressive energy they carry.

The modern artwork belongs to the self-expression of the artist's emotional experience, which emphasizes emotional content and the presentation of different worlds and expressionism is not just a method and a method in art, but a refuge for the artist's psychological projections.
