The study aimed at identifying the problems of teaching English for the first secondary grade students in Al-Karak educational Region from teachers' point of view.

The sample of the study consisted of (60) first secondary classroom teachers who responded to a (60) item questionnaire that concentrated on the problem of teaching English to students To assure the validity of the questionnaire, it was distributed to a group of experts.

The reliability coefficient was calculated by using (test- retest) method.

Data was analyzed by using (SPSS) to find means, standard deviations, "t" test and ANOVA.

The result of the first question about the level of the English teaching problems facing the first secondary grade students in al-Karak directorates from teachers' point of view was high as a whole, the standard deviation was (3.83) and the reliability coefficient was (0.98).But regarding the other three levels the results showed that the level of the English teaching problems related to the dimensions of) The student and the required textbook) that facing the first secondary grade students from teachers' point of view was high.

The level of the English teaching problems related to (the teacher dimension) that facing the first secondary grade students from teachers point of view was moderate.

There were no statistically significant differences in the problems of teaching English that facing the first secondary grade students from teachers' point of view, due to their sex.

Moreover, there were statistically significant differences in the problems of teaching English that facing the first secondary grade students from teachers' point of view, due to the variable of the experience and the scientific qualifications, in favor of (5-10),(10 years and above) and who had B.A + High Diploma.
