Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the opinions of teachers at the secondary school about Educational Images and illustrations in biology textbook for third grade.

The researcher adopted the descriptive method, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data.

The study population consisted of (83) biology males and females teachers in Secondary School in Ombada Locality.

A random sample of (50) teachers was selected.

The data was analyzed by descriptive and nonparametric statistics and the analysis was accomplished through the (SPSS) Software.

The study found that: The educational images and illustrations in the biology book for the third grade in the secondary school edition (2015) contribute to the achieving of educational goals; most biology teachers redraw figures related to the book namely on the blackboard; the educational images and illustrations in the biology textbook are correct from scientific; and clear from size and parts, in addition to its link to the topics of the lessons contained in the book.
