his study sought to identify the objective confrontation of the crime of modesty and favoritism through criminalization in Jordanian and Iraqi legislation and the penalties contained in the legislation of the two countries for this crime.

The study also sought to identify the forms of substantive confrontation of this crime by identifying the legal structure of the crime of modesty and favoritism and this study was divided To two studies, the first topic dealt with the policy of criminalization of the crime of wasta and favoritism, and in the second topic, the policy of punishment for the crime of wasta and favoritism.

The study yielded a number of results, the most prominent of which was that the Jordanian legislator has outperformed the pain The Iraqi has embarked on the objective confrontation of this crime when stipulated in the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Law independently as a crime of corruption.
