Abstract EN

This study addresses conspiracy crimes affecting state security in the UAE legislation through analytical study while comparing the UAE federal penal legislation with other penal legislations like the Egyptian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Syrian and Lebanese.

The researcher analyzed the texts of penal legislation relevant to the subject matter of this research with a focus on the provisions of the UAE federal penal code, particularly the new provisions on the criminal conspiracy crime stipulated in article (201as amended No.13) of federal penal code No.

(3) of 1987, amended by decree No.(7) of 2016.

Furthermore, the study focused on identifying the areas of deviation of the decree pursuant to the aforementioned law from the established general rules of penal code in the domain of criminalization and penalties, in addition to finding out about and the justifications of such deviation.
