Abstract: he paper has investigated future visions of the Sudanese faculties of education both theoretically and practically.
This constitutes the main challenge facing general and higher education institutions at the local and general levels.
The paper has adopted historical descriptive approach to analyze proposals presented by Sudan and which were approved by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
The paper tends to answer these questions: Are the proposals presented by Sudan before regional events held in Khartoum carried out locally? Do these proposals constitute a challenge and worth of investigation and application? The paper has recommended that scientific programs and courses should be adopted at the faculties of education in the future.
Moreover, a mechanism should be employed to implement and follow up implementation of the recommendations.
