Abstract EN

This study aims to prepare two measures of life stress among university students, one for life stressors and the other for life stresses.

The author has prepared the life stressors by reviewing many of the measures and surveying the students' opinion and then forming dimensions and items of the scale.

It also localized the life stresses, or so-called pressure indicators, prepared by the International Guidance Team in California, USA.

The researcher relied on the methodology used in the Arabization of foreign standards to be fit for the Arab and Egyptian environment.

The reliability and validity were calculated on a sample of 225 students at the university city of Helwan University.

Based on the results of rationing, the first scale consists of 40 items divided into five dimensions and the second scale consists of 62 items divided into five dimensions as well.

To make the two standards applicable in the Egyptian environment.
