Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to evaluate the role of social welfare institutions in achieving family security for orphans enrolled in them.

This is due to the importance of the role that care institutions play in raising a large number of children and providing them with many services, whether health, educational, food or other important services.

In addition to that, we also find the importance of the role of care institutions in creating a family atmosphere for orphans who are enrolled in them, and therefore in order to make them good people in society.

Accordingly, a questionnaire form was applied to workers in social welfare institutions in Fayoum governorate entitled “The effectiveness of social care institutions in achieving family security for orphans enrolled in them” consisting of four sub-dimensions, namely: the role of social welfare institutions in providing basic services to orphans - the role of social welfare institutions in Providing an alternative family environment - the role of social care institutions in providing a safe environment - the role of social care institutions in providing services to those outside them.

Those dimensions are made of (59) phrases.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the quantitative and qualitative method in analyzing and interpreting the results of the research, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which was the emergence of the role of care institutions in providing all basic services to achieve family security for orphans enrolled in them.
