The present study aimed to identify the contributions of NGOs in achieving both health protection, family and social protection, cultural and recreational protection, and economic protection for the elderly displaced without shelter.

Eligibility for social protection for displaced elderly people without shelter (high) and it is found that there are some obstacles facing NGOs consisting of the lack of sufficient financial resources to achieve social protection, lack of appropriate professional experience, poor follow-up and continuous evaluation Social protection programmes, and finally poor coordination and communication between associations and stakeholders in achieving social protection for elderly displaced persons without shelter, was one of the most important proposals needed to activate the contributions of NGOs to social protection for displaced persons without shelter.

Coordination and communication between NGOs and those concerned with the care of displaced elderly people without shelter, the provision of the necessary financial resources, the increase in the number of workers and social workers, , and, lack of appropriate professional experience.
