Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to explore eighth-grade students’ perceptions of the application of the national test for quality assurance of e-learning in Marka education directorate in the capital city of Jordan.

The sample of the study comprised 204 eightgrade students in Marka education directorate in the academic year 2018/2019.

Data were collected using a reliable and valid questionnaire consisted of 22 items designed to assess students’ perceptions.

The results pointed out a high degree of eighth-grade students’ perceptions on the application of the national test for quality assurance of e-learning (Mean = 3.98).

Furthermore, it was noted that there were no statistically significant differences in eighth-grade students’ perceptions on the application of the national test for quality assurance of e-learning that can be attributed to sex (male or female).

On the other hand, the results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in eighthgrade students’ perceptions on the application of the national test for quality assurance of e-learning that can be attributed to learning courses in favor of Arabic course.

Consequently, the Ministry of Education is called to intensify using electronic tests in order to measure students’ performance as well as paying more attention to developing electronic tests in various educational courses to be used by teachers
