The study aimed to test the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy to reduce social stigma among mothers of children with Down syndrome, and this study belongs to experimental studies, and the experimental method was used on a sample of (20) mothers of children with Down syndrome divided into (10) experimental cases and (10) cases Controlled, using interview tools and the social stigma scale, and its results proved that "there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-measurement scores for the cases of the two control and experimental groups on the scale of social stigma among mothers of children with Down syndrome, and there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-measurement scores for the cases of the two control groups.
