The use of artificial intelligence programs in various fields of life raises many difficulties, especially with regard to criminal liability for the work of these programs, the appropriateness of current legislations, and their ability to understand the unique characteristics of this technology.

accordingly, this study seeks to discuss some of the current challenges of artificial intelligence programs or those that may arise in the future, especially in light of the rapid pace of technological development, advanced programs have given some artificial intelligence-powered machines enormous capabilities that are very dangerous as they can develop self-experience that enable them to make decisions independently, therefore, it’s conceivable that these entities will deviate from human control and commit crimes with their own will away from the software orders given to them, it was necessary to discuss the criminal responsibility for crimes committed by artificial intelligence entities that has independence in decision making.
