Administrative and financial oversight bodies of general jurisdiction are the main tool of the state in confronting administrative corruption.

the research aims to find out the legal and economic aspects that support the performance of those authorities and bodies while carrying out their role in activating the national anti-corription strategy.

hence, the research was divided into five sections, the first is related to establishing the administrative corruption phenomenon in Egypt, the second handles the types of montering and the main financial and administrative oversight bodies, then the third deals with efforts exerted by the state to fight corruption, while the fourth section evaluates such efforts, the fifth section presents the necessary suggested legal and economic aspects to support the authorities and oversight bodies while activating the national anti-corruption strategy, and finally the researcher explains the findings and recommendations of the research.
