The aim of the research is to identify the effect of using e-learning in teaching social studies on achievement and direction towards the subject among first-grade middle school students, and to achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the experimental approach based on the design of the experimental and control groups, and designed his research tools that were represented in an achievement test consisting of (40) A paragraph, and a pre-prepared questionnaire to measure the students' orientation towards the material, consisting of (30) paragraphs, and an educational program prepared electronically, and after making sure of the validity and reliability of the research tools, they were applied to the intended study sample of students The first intermediate grade of Al Dhuluiya Preparatory School for Boys, whose number is (58) students, was divided into three groups, one of them is control and the other is experimental with (20) students per group, and an exploratory group whose number of students reached (18) students, the application of the research continued for six weeks.
Study tools and data analysis statistically The results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the post application of the achievement test in favor of the experimental group in all Test levels (knowledge, comprehension, application, and total score), as well as the existence of a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the two groups in the direction towards the material for the benefit of the experimental group students in the post application, and that the e-learning program improves the cognitive achievement and the development of the trend towards social subject among the students of the stage Mediu
