Abstract EN

Proverbs have played avital role among the Quranic, colloquial, and poetic quotations in which the scholars relied on while extracting the syntactic principles.

starting by Sibawayh's book which is the first one in syntax on the recording level and what is followed it in other books which have a huge consider him in linguistics.

This research tackles Arabic proverbs quoted by AL-Mubarrad in his book "AL-Muktedheb" which is considered as the oldest and greatest grammar book reached us after Sibawayh's book, throughout the analysis of these proverbs showing his Analytic Approach, this research has shown that AL-Mubarrad quoted the proverbs as he did with the Arabic poetry and Holy Quran verses.

This indicates its importance in forming grammatical rules in his opinion.
