The Turkish army was adopting the law and the constitution in its powers to intervene in political life from the standpoint of protecting secularism, and the role of the military institution in confronting the political authority was greatly active in the stage of the rise of the Islamic trend to rule in Turkey, and the Turkish political institution revealed coup attempts that were orchestrated by the military institution against the government of Justice and Development.

So came the attempt of the Justice and Development Party to eliminate the role of the military institution in political life, and the attempted coup of Al-Qafs in 2009 was the biggest justification for this role.
