Impact of self-learning on the student's achievement of fourth graders students in Islamic educational curricula at the Al-alam district.
The purpose of the study was to find out the impact of self-learning on the performance of fourth-grade science students in Islamic educational curricula at Al-alam district in Salahaddin governorate.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive and experimental approach based on the description and analysis of the case under study.
The study sample consisted of: (160) Students in Science Fourth Grade in Al-alam Schools, selected in the baptismal manner, two groups from each school were chosen at random, and the study sample consisted of 80 students for boys in two groups, including 40 students in the test group; (40) students in the control group, and (80) students of girls placed in two groups, including 40 students in the test group, (40) students in the control group.
The results of the study showed that the method of self-learning in the achievement of fourth grade students in Islamic education benefited mainly girl's students at the average 18.42 and then boy's students at average 16.36.
The results of the study also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 due to the effect of the interaction between sex and the teaching method.
