Abstract EN

The Study Aimed to Identify the availability of Basic Technological Competencies among the Faculty Members at Najran University from their Point of View, and the Extent to which their Practices for those Competencies Conform to the Standards of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and to Uncover Statistically Significant Differences in the average Responses of the Faculty Members at Najran University, which They can be Traced Back to (the Difference in Gender, Academic rank, years of experience).

In addition, The Study was based on the Descriptive Approach and the Questionnaire as a Research tool.

It was Applied on (370) Faculty Members at Najran University during the academic year 1441/1442 AH.

The Study Found that the Degree of availability of basic Technological Competencies among the Faculty Members at Najran University, from their Point of View was of a Moderate Degree and that the Degree of Compatibility of the Practices of Information Technology Competencies of Faculty Members at the University of Najran in Saudi Arabia with the (ISTE) Standards Came with a Medium Degree.

The Study also Found that there is a Statistically Significant Correlation Between the Degree of availability of basic Technological Competencies among the Faculty Members at Najran University and the Degree of their Practice of ISTE * E Standards.

The Results also showed that there are no Statistically Significant Differences between the Responses of the Sample individuals attributable to Gender Variables and Years Experience, and Academic Degree eight narrations.

I found that six of these narrations are true, one is good for itself, and one is good compared with the others.
