Abstract EN

This research deals with a topic that occupied an important position among old and modern grammarians of Arabic; this research is interested in a specific view, which is the relation of transitivity and intransitivity with the maṣdar (derivations) through a quest of the effect of the maṣdars (derivations) on variation of transitivity and intransitivity of verbs.

This work attempted to offer an answer to the previous question with an objective analysis of integrity.

We ended up with a conclusion that there is an effect of maṣdars (derivations) of verbs on their transitivity versus intransitivity, and it is impossible to deny it.

This might lead scholars to investigate this topic to confirm or refuse what we came up with.
