Abstract EN

This study depends on Semiotic methodology to analyze of Arab poets' receiving of the icon (Photo) for the child Eilan Kurdi, and how it contributed to the drawing of their poetic images.

The study contains a preface and three sections.

It concludes to show the capability of the poetry to read what included in the other arts, especially the photo, and the characterization of this reading, which goes beyond the direct significance and works on the image creativity.

The study also found the emergence of the "child's" icon that inspired the poets, and drew their perception positively and negatively, using different techniques, such as narrative, dialogue and drama.

And followed by the icon of the (sea), which had a clear impact in the employment of metaphors mechanisms to move and discuss the sea and for different purposes, and then the icon of the (beach), which appeared weak impact compared to others.
